Collaboration Matters

What a day for Lochlan’s Legacy 💙🤍

Yesterday, we had the absolute honour of attending an event with NHS Ayrshire & Arran at Crosshouse Hospital, where we spoke about our charity and the importance of collaboration, patient voice, and lived experience in helping create real change for those living with Type 1 Diabetes.

It was incredibly powerful to share Lochlan’s journey and highlight why awareness, understanding, and inclusion matter so much within our communities 💙

We then headed along to the Parents Event with the 12th Kilmarnock Boys’ Brigade to present certificates to the officers and company section after completing our Basic Awareness and Understanding of Type 1 Diabetes course 👏

Education creates understanding.

Understanding creates confidence.

And confidence can truly change lives.

A huge thank you to everyone who welcomed us, supported us, and continues to believe in the mission of Lochlan’s Legacy.

Together, we continue to raise awareness, break down stigma, and prove every single day that #T1DDoesntStopMe 💙🤍
